1. Information We Collect
- We will start collecting relevant data about your use of PlumCat software when you launch it for the first time.
- PlumCat software may obtain your personal information from third parties or business partners through legal channels.
- To provide you with higher-quality product services, ensure network security during use, maintain the normal operation of the product and continuously optimize and improve it, after you actively click to agree to this Privacy Policy and when you use the services we provide, in addition to the personal information necessary to ensure the normal operation of the basic functions and services of the App as explicitly required by national laws and regulations, we will also collect other personal information from you:
- To identify high-risk users, verify the authenticity of users and prevent cheating in an all-round way, we will read your device information once every time you open the software, including device model, device MAC address, unique device identifiers (IMEI, AndroidID, Device ID, MEID, UUID, GAID, OAID, IDFA, OpenUDID, GUID, IMSI, CCID, serial number, WiFi SSID and BSSID), Bluetooth address, operating system version, operating system name, user login account and password information, etc.
- When you use the services of our products, we may collect certain information through network log information or certain programs and software, such as detailed usage of products and services (including the opening time, usage duration, accessed page addresses of your application, etc.); device event information (such as crash, system activity and other information), which is used to optimize your device and improve our services.
- To identify risky applications on the device and provide more secure functional services, we need to obtain the list of running applications/installed applications on your device to ensure the normal operation of the product and protect device security.
- To analyze users' usage of application functions and verify the authenticity of users, we will conduct data statistics and collect your device information (including device MAC address and unique device identifier) when your device is in use.
- Device signals: We will collect the network status of your device, WiFi access point information, etc.
- Location information: We may collect and process information about your location by using GPS, WiFi or other technical means for updating local information, providing content services, etc.

Notes:
- For the more sensitive personal information among the above information, such as user device information (IMEI number, call status and identification code), GPS location information, photo media content and file access permission, we will obtain your consent before collection. The collection of some non-sensitive information may be default and automatic. You can restrict our collection of relevant information from your mobile device or the use of specific permissions by adjusting the "Settings" option of your mobile device. When you restrict us from obtaining a certain permission, we may not be able to continue to provide you with the corresponding services and will no longer process your corresponding information.
- We will not collect your highly sensitive personal information such as ID card number, personal biometric information, bank account number, property information, credit information, health and physical information.
- Regarding sensitive permissions: To ensure the normal use of application functions, this product needs to obtain the following permissions to provide you with relevant functional services of normal products.
- Obtain storage read and write permission: The acquisition method is pop-up prompt; the application will only use this permission after you actively click to agree. The purpose and scope of use are to scan resource cache files, thumbnails, etc. in the system, load music resources and product pictures, and display them on the App interface for the convenience of users' viewing and operation.
- Obtain application installation list permission: The acquisition method is also pop-up prompt; the application will only use this permission after you actively click to agree. The purpose and scope of use are that when the application needs to use advertising promotion services, the third-party advertising platform needs to obtain the device's "app installation list permission" to avoid pushing applications already owned by users, thereby improving the user experience.
- Obtain device status information permission, including device model, device MAC address, unique device identifiers (IMEI, AndroidID, Device ID, MEID, UUID, GAID, OAID, IDFA, OpenUDID, GUID, IMSI, CCID, MEID, serial number, WiFi SSID and BSSID, Bluetooth address), operating system version, operating system name, etc. The acquisition method is pop-up prompt; the application will only use this permission after you actively click to agree. The purpose and scope of use are that when you use our application, we will synchronize this permission to third-party SDKs for the purpose of analyzing users' usage of application functions and verifying the authenticity of users.
- Obtain location information permission: The acquisition method is pop-up prompt; the application will only use this permission after you actively click to agree. The purpose and scope of use are that when the application needs to use GPS, WiFi or other functions, the product needs to collect your location and related information to search for Bluetooth devices in nearby locations.

2. Storage of Information
- Storage Location & Cross-border Transfer
- Domestic Collection: Personal information collected and generated in the course of our operations within the People's Republic of China will be stored on servers located in China.
- Overseas Collection: Personal information collected in overseas countries/regions will be stored on secure servers in the corresponding regions (e.g., AWS/Google Cloud nodes) in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Cross-border Rules: We will not transfer your personal information out of the territory unless we obtain your explicit authorization or the transfer is necessary for fulfilling legal obligations. If cross-border transfer is indeed required, we will strictly perform assessment, filing and encryption obligations in accordance with local legal requirements to ensure your information is protected at a level equivalent to that in China.
- Retention Period
We retain your personal information only for the minimum period necessary to achieve business purposes, unless:
- Legal Requirements: Laws and regulations stipulate a mandatory retention period for specific information (e.g., the E-Commerce Law requires transaction information to be retained for no less than three years).
- User Instructions: You proactively request an extension of the retention period, or the retention is implemented in accordance with your authorization agreement.
- Post-expiry Processing: Once the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal information through technical means to prevent it from being re-identified.
- Special Mechanisms
- Minimal Storage Principle: PlumCat adheres to the principle of minimal storage. Except for the system permissions necessary to implement core functions, our server side (cloud) does not store your sensitive personal information in principle.
- Third-Party SDK Specifications: All integrated third-party plug-ins/SDKs have undergone strict security reviews. We require service providers to anonymize and de-identify data to ensure it cannot be linked to a specific natural person.
- Local Data Destruction: Application data stored locally on your mobile device (e.g., cache, local settings) will be physically deleted by the system when you uninstall the PlumCat software or manually clear the cache.
- Cessation of Operations: If this product ceases to provide services, we will notify you via announcement or notice 30 days in advance, immediately stop collecting new information, and simultaneously delete existing data.
3. Information Security
- PlumCat software will adopt industry-standard security measures and technical means to store and protect your personal information, such as identity authentication, data encryption, restriction of data center access and other security measures to ensure the security of your information and prevent information from being leaked, tampered with or damaged. Although we have adopted these security measures, please note that no security measure can be 100% absolutely secure.
- When you use the services provided by PlumCat software, we recommend that you properly protect your personal information. If you find that your personal information has been leaked, please contact us immediately so that we can take corresponding measures in a timely manner.
4. How We Use the Collected Information
- In realizing the business functions of the application, we may use your personal information to ensure the integrity and security of the products and services we provide to you.
- We will understand your usage habits through the collected information, and with the help of data analysis, identify the acceptability of services, your usage habits, etc., so as to test and create new products, functions and services, improve service levels, and assist us in improving existing services and developing new services.

At present, we will not actively share or transfer your personal information to third parties outside the Company. With the continuous development of our business, we may conduct transactions such as merger, acquisition and asset transfer. 6. How to Manage Your Personal Information
In accordance with relevant Chinese laws, regulations and standards, as well as the common practices of other countries and regions, we guarantee that you may exercise the following rights with respect to your own personal information:

- Delete your personal information: You may request us to delete your personal information in the following circumstances: if our processing of personal information violates laws and regulations; if we collect and use your personal information without your consent; if our processing of personal information violates the agreement with you; if you no longer use our products or services; if we no longer provide you with products or services. We will stop collecting, using and disclosing your personal information after that in accordance with your request. However, please note that if you withdraw your consent or delete your personal information, it may affect your use of some of our services.
- Access and copy personal information: In accordance with the provisions of relevant laws, you may apply to us for access to and copy of your personal information after providing your IMEI (mobile phone serial number), OAID, Android ID, account information and other materials. - Respond to your above requests: To ensure security, you may need to submit a written request or prove your identity in other ways. We may first require you to verify your identity before processing your request. We will reply to and process your reasonable requests in a timely manner. We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require excessive technical means (e.g., the need to develop a new system or fundamentally change current practices), pose a risk to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are highly impractical. In the following circumstances, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, we will not be able to respond to your request: related to national security and national defense security; related to public security, public health and major public interests; related to criminal investigation, prosecution and trial; there is sufficient evidence that you have subjective malice or abuse of rights; responding to your request will cause serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals and organizations.
- Account cancellation: Users can perform the [Account Cancellation] operation on the APP. The operation steps are as follows: enter the [My] page, click the [Settings] button in the upper right corner, click [Account Cancellation] and confirm. After cancellation, the information of the user's account will be cleared.
7. Explanation of Application Permissions
To provide you with higher-quality product services, we will apply for the following permissions when you use this software. Authorization will be requested when you enter or use the function on the homepage; if you refuse, some corresponding functions will not work properly. The specific purposes and reminder methods of the permissions are described in detail as follows:
- Location permission:
android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION. Obtain the user's latitude and longitude location information through WiFi or mobile base station. When you use PlumCat software, we will search for nearby Bluetooth devices for you based on your geographic location; at the same time, to provide more stable services and optimize the product to improve the experience, we will share the above information with third-party SDKs such as Umeng and Amap to obtain PlumCat software operation data and functional services. - File read and write permission:
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE. This permission is required when you enter the application and the application performs application management business functions. Reminder method: Explanation in the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
- Network permission:
android.permission.INTERNET. This permission is required when you use the information service and version upgrade service of PlumCat software; at the same time, to improve the user experience and service capabilities, third-party SDKs such as Umeng will also use this permission. - Network state access permission:
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE. Used to obtain whether the current network connection is valid, judge whether it is in a 4G environment, and whether to remind of changes in the network environment, thus affecting the loading of information content. This permission will be applied for when you use PlumCat software. Changes in the network state affect the upload and loading of data points. - Task list access permission:
android.permission.GET_TASKS. Used to obtain the application list for the software management function; this permission will be used when you use the software management function and need to read the applications installed on the mobile phone. - MAC address access permission:
android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, android.permission.INTERNET, android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE. This permission will be required when you use PlumCat software. Third-party platforms such as Umeng+ SDK need to use the MAC address when the application needs to report target conversion data. - Audio recording permission:
android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO. This permission is required when you use the voice input function of PlumCat software, which is mainly applied to translation and other related functions through voice input. Reminder methods: Explanation in the User Agreement and Privacy Policy; dynamic pop-up application when the user needs it.
- WiFi SSID access permission:
The application will read the WiFi SSID permission when it is needed. Usage method, purpose and scope: Third-party platforms such as Umeng+ SDK need to read the device's "WiFi SSID permission" to provide users with more accurate and effective functional services when the application needs to use data analysis services. - Bluetooth permission:
The application will read the Bluetooth permission when it is needed. Usage method, purpose and scope: Used to search for and configure attached Bluetooth devices such as Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth watches for the convenience of user management. - WiFi BSSID access permission:
The application will read the device's "WiFi BSSID" permission when it needs to distinguish and identify users to provide functional services and conduct data statistics. - Application installation permission:
android.permission.REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES. This permission is used by the software mainly to allow users to install the new version and experience new functions when a new version is released. Reminder method: Explanation in the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
- Camera permission:
android.permission.CAMERA. This permission is used by PlumCat software mainly to scan QR codes and bind Bluetooth devices such as Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth watches. Special Notes:
- After the user agrees to the use, the [Umeng] SDK and [Amap] SDK integrated in the application will obtain personal information such as ICCID, IMSI, IMEI, SN, ANDROID, BSSID, ANDROID ID, SSID and IMSI in the background/foreground of the application. - Application self-start permission: The application will self-start when switching languages or performing related operations, which is convenient for users to stay on the current APP interface and continue using it. Reminder method: ① Explanation in the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
8. List of Integrated Third-Party SDKs
- To ensure the stable operation and function implementation of our client and enable you to use and enjoy more services and functions, third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) or other similar applications will be embedded in our application. These third parties will collect and process relevant information in accordance with their own privacy policies to normally provide functions and advertising services. You can learn the specific rules of third-party information collection and processing in detail below. We will conduct strict security testing on the SDKs used by partners to obtain information to protect the reasonable use and security of your personal information. 9. Protection of Minors
Users of our products and services may include minors under the age of 18.
